Service Agreement

Effective Date: September 16, 2025

Parties:
This agreement is made between I Am Pet Care Inc. (“Company”), the Service Provider (“Provider”), and the Client (“Client”).

1. Scope of Services

The Provider agrees to offer one or more of the following services:

  • Pet sitting
  • Dog walking
  • Grooming
  • Daycare
  • Overnight boarding
  • Certified training
  • Delivery of pet meals or supplements

Services are delivered according to booking confirmations on the I Am Pet Care platform.

2. Provider Obligations

  • Maintain valid certification/licenses (e.g., grooming, training) as applicable
  • Adhere to I Am Pet Care’s Pet Care Standards & Code of Conduct
  • Ensure the safety, hygiene, and humane treatment of all animals
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with Clients
  • Carry insurance where required by law or company policy

3. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate pet profile information (breed, age, weight, health conditions)
  • Ensure pets are up to date with vaccinations
  • Provide access and instructions required for service delivery
  • Pay service fees in full and on time
  • Inform I Am Pet Care of any complaints or incidents

4. Payment and Fees

  • Payments are processed via the I Am Pet Care platform
  • Providers receive payouts on a weekly basis, less applicable service fees
  • I Am Pet Care retains a standard 15%–25% platform service fee (flexible per region/service)

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel up to 24 hours before the service without penalty
  • Late cancellations may incur a 50%–100% fee
  • Refunds are issued according to our Refund Policy

6. Confidentiality

Providers and Clients agree to maintain confidentiality over all sensitive information shared through the platform, including:

  • Pet medical records
  • Personal contact details
  • Private residence access instructions

7. Independent Contractor Status

Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees. They are responsible for their own taxes, licenses, and insurance.

8. Liability and Insurance

  • I Am Pet Care carries platform-wide liability coverage for accidents involving approved bookings
  • Providers are encouraged to carry additional insurance
  • I Am Pet Care is not liable for incidents resulting from negligence or unapproved activities

9. Termination

This agreement may be terminated:

  • By the Client or Provider at any time via written notice
  • By the Company if either party breaches policies or endangers safety
  • Upon deactivation or suspension of accounts

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved under Canadian commercial arbitration rules.
